This publication, produced by North Carolina State Extension, presents findings from a multi-location, two-year study by the NC State Organic Cropping Research program investigating the effect of increased soybean seeding rates as a weed management strategy for organic soybean producers. The study suggests that increased seeding rates may be a viable tactic for organic producers to improve crop competitiveness against weeds.
